ISO20022 Financial Simulator Guide

This guide will walk you through the steps involved in using the ISO20022 Financial Simulator

1. Open ISO20022 App

Open

Start by opening ISO20022 Financial Simulator App. ISO20022

2. How to Create Wallet, Fund Wallet, Generate Keys?

Open

Create a New Session:

You start by creating a new session for the simulation. This involves defining the parameters and scope of your transaction testing between two financial institutions. Setup Financial Institution A (Initiator):

Create Wallet:

Begin by creating a digital wallet for the initiator on the Coreum blockchain. This wallet will store the digital currency or tokens used in the simulation.

Fund Wallet:

After the wallet is created, you will need to fund it. This step might involve transferring a set amount of tokens or currency into the wallet to be used in the transactions.

Generate Keys:

Generate the necessary cryptographic keys. These keys are essential for securing transactions and ensuring they are processed correctly within the blockchain.

Setup Financial Institution B (Destination):

Create Wallet:

Similarly, create a wallet for the destination financial institution on the Coreum blockchain.

Fund Wallet:

The destination wallet also needs to be funded, although the specifics might vary depending on the simulation’s objectives.

Generate Keys:

Generate cryptographic keys for the destination to secure transactions and authenticate them properly.

2. Run ISO2 + RTGS Confirmation

Open Keplr Wallet

Financial Institution A (Initiator)

CORE and USD Balances

The initiator has a balance of 89.94 CORE and $9,000 USD available for transactions.

Create Smart Token Schema

A smart contract or token schema named "isopayment1715619009468-testcore1kgxrqug2c3qvf0pp8kdntc4jwhc8ym8cwxjswh" is created. This schema likely defines the rules for managing and executing transactions within the simulation.

Tokenize Asset (Encrypted ISO Payment)

An asset is tokenized, containing an encrypted ISO20022 message. The tokenized asset is identified as "NFT_ISOPayment1715619009468-0".

Send and Receive Messages

Financial Institution A sends a message to Financial Institution B, After sending and receiving messages, each of the institutions confirms the message receipt, indicating successful communication between the institutions.

Financial Institution B (Destination)

CORE and USD Balances

The destination has a balance of 99.93 CORE and $2,000 USD.

Create Smart Token Schema

Similarly, Financial Institution B creates a smart token schema with the same name as A's, for coordinating and validating the transaction on their end.

Tokenize Asset (Encrypted ISO Payment)

Financial Institution B also tokenizes assets, producing two tokenized entries: "NFT_ISOPayment1715619009468-0" and "NFT_ISOPayment1715619009468-1". This suggests multiple transactions or stages in the transaction process.

Send and Receive Messages

Financial Institution B sends messages back to Institution A, which are related to the transactions initiated. It confirms the details or acknowledges the actions taken by Institution A.

Transaction Confirmation

Both institutions show a status of "Confirmed" for the activities undertaken. This Confirmed status comes from the institutions sending a "confirmed" message to the contract, acknowledging the flow of actions such as the creation of token schemas, tokenization of assets, and the sending/receiving of messages.

Viewing on Explorer

"View on Explorer" links are associated with each action, allowing participants to verify transaction details on the blockchain explorer. This tool provides transparency and detailed verification of blockchain activities, such as transaction data, token details, and contract interactions.

Tokenize Asset (Encrypted ISO Payment)

  • Several assets are tokenized:
    • NFT_ISOPayment1715621258071-0
    • NFT_ISOPayment1715621258071-1
    • NFT_ISOPayment1715621258071-2

Each tokenization event is logged, and details can be viewed on a blockchain explorer.

Communication with Financial Institution B

Messages are sent to Financial Institution B regarding each of the tokenized assets.

Each message can be viewed on a blockchain explorer.

-Receipt of each message sent by Financial Institution B is confirmed.
